About us

Quest Associates Ltd. was formed in 1998 by Peter Woodward and Jane Lloyd. We specialise in the design and delivery of participatory and organisational diagnostic processes on behalf of many different organisations. Peter and Jane have a wide range of experience between them enabling them to apply their techniques to a variety of situations.

Peter Woodward

Peter Woodward

Peter Woodward is co-founder and director of Quest Associates. He is in demand for a wide range of interventions across the UK, from chairing national conferences through to facilitating a wide range of stakeholder engagements within the public, private and non-government organisations sector.

Peter trained as an Urban and Regional Planner and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning institute. He was a pioneering campaigner on urban nature conservation issues, working for the Urban Wildlife Group in Birmingham for five years during the 1980s. Peter has developed a particular knowledge in the field of sustainable development, having run the Shell’s flagship environmental corporate social responsibility programme, ‘The Shell Better Britain Campaign’ for 13 years up to 2001.

Peter is one of only a small number of specialist facilitators operating in the UK who have achieved Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) status from the International Association of Facilitators.

His distinctive and energetic facilitation style makes Quest events effective and memorable for all participants.

Jane Lloyd

Jane Lloyd

Jane also trained as a Town Planner. She subsequently completed a Masters in Business Administration whilst Assistant Chief Executive of West Oxfordshire District Council.

Much of Jane’s work experience has been spent in the public sector, working for over 16 years in local authorities throughout the Midlands, both rural and metropolitan. From 1990 her career took her into strategic management, with responsibility for developing complex policy programmes such as sustainable development and community planning. She has also worked extensively on whole organisation approaches, external engagement plans, partnership working, strategy and communication planning as well as team building and staff development.

Jane joined Quest in 1998 since which time she has undertaken professional facilitation training specialising in recording and design and, as Co-Director of the Company, has taken over the running of the overall business.
